A week in paradise at the Goddess Garden Yoga Retreat Center, on Costa Rica's Caribbean Rainforest

This year's retreat offers luxury, ambiance and a stunning setting.  We are very excited to be doing our first retreat at the fabulous Goddess Garden, a magical resort, with heart centered hosts and incredible setting in the rainforest as well as on the beach.  The Goddess Garden    http://www.thegoddessgarden.com/     is located outside Cahuita, a small, friendly Costa Rican beach community 4 hours from San Jose on the Caribbean Coast .  

The Goddess Garden provides a wonderful setting for our sunrise and sunset yoga, guided meditations, and workshops.   We will also offer and set up many optional activities: horse back riding, canopy zip line tours, rain forest hikes, surfing, and much more.  We will discover some of the magical inhabitants such as monkeys, sloths, frogs,, turtles, and the many amazing birds, including toucans, and scarlet mackaws.  We will also visit a sloth sanctuary which is very very close to our hotel.  The Cahuita National Park is just a couple miles from our hotel, with stunning scenery and lots of wildlife.   Snorkeling in the National Park is some of the best in Costa Rica.   We are also very close to the Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Reserve, where we will see even more wildlife. 

We are doing this retreat in October because this is generally the best month of the year, with less rain and more sun and calm seas. (day temperatures about 85 degrees or so).   A massage therapist and other services are also available.  There will also be time for reading, relaxing, and reflecting.  Come join new friends who are exploring, healing, and awakening. This retreat is appropriate and can be modified for all levels of yoga and meditation experience.

Roy Holman has taught yoga and meditation for 10 years. He teaches a grounded, flowing Viniyoga-inspired style of traditional hatha yoga. Roy is a Certified Yoga Instructor trained in the Viniyoga tradition.

What is included in Yoga Retreat fee of $1,395 ?

• Ground transport: Van from & back to airport in San Jose..
• 8 Nights Hotel (usually double occupancy).  Two nights in San Jose (coming and going) and six nights at Goddess Garden.  I can match you with others, or for a single room add $350, if space allows – talk with me first.  
• 2 Daily Retreat Meals (for the 6 days at Goddess Garden) : Open to suggestions and special requests and needs.
• Classes: All Yoga, Meditation, & Playshops
• Air Option : Includes RT Air from Seattle : $2,195 (depending on current prices)

  Extra costs / options : Other meals ($100 or so), souvenirs, suggested hotel and other tips ($40 total?), extra activities (massage, trips, tours), airport departure tax of $26.
