Roy Holman Methow Valley Lindsey Swope
The retreat will be Friday evening, October 2 to Sunday October 4, 2009, and the
price of $350 will include all meals, classes, and double occupancy room
(we will find you a room-mate if you do not have one).
Skalitude Retreat Center is located in the beautiful Methow Valley. The name Skalitude comes from a Native Salish word that means 'to be in harmony with Nature'.
They provide solar power, healthy meals, double rooms, yoga and workshop space, hiking
and more. Please see their website at: www.Skalitude.com
We’ll car pool up there late Friday, or meet us there.
Lindsey Swope and Roy Holman will teach and lead. Roy has led many retreats, in the North Cascades as well as Costa Rica, Mexico and Guatemala.
He is trained and certified in the viniyoga tradition, and teaches a body-friendly,
heart centered, meditative flow yoga. Lindsey Swope (owner of Skalitude Retreat) began her study of yoga in 1986 and has been teaching since 1997. Along the way she has explored
many pathways of mind-body-spirit connection, and she enjoys sharing
the richness of this journey with others. This retreat is suitable to nearly all yoga levels.
We will do five yoga classes, a healing workshop, a
silent meditation walk, a hike, and other activities. We usually have about 15 people attend, a chance to make new friends and connect, but also quiet time to read, relax and rejuvenate.
All classes and activities are optional.
